Wii are a success :)

As noted everywhere, Nintendo Wii sales are very succesful.
But why’s that? Wii’s is most likely the console with the least processing/graphic power and I dare to say they won’t have as many agreements with game editors as Sony or Microsoft.
Wii’s has got Wiimote “a controller that hat motion sensing capability, which allows the user to interact with and manipulate items on screen via movement and pointing“, a awesome feature.
Did I mention Wii costs about 1/3 of the (not yet widely available) PS3? So, what we do get is great fun for money.
This is the right kind of console for people who want play games in an innovative (yet natural) way and want to play them with their family/friends, because that’s where is all the fun. I’d also say that it is for those who don’t really like to spend days & days learning how to play a game - those who just want to have fun NOW.
Xbox360 and PS3 may be great technological pieces, but for me Wii has won the console wars - it has reached a new market niche using intelligence instead of brute force (you can call it processing power/graphics) AND without making you spend an insane amount of cash.
