Photoshop gray canvas

If you use Photoshop CS2 and for some unknown reason your images’ canvas has become gray, instead of the normal transparent pattern, then you have a corrupted preferences profile.
To solve it just to the following: while opening Photoshop CS2, keep ALT+Shift+CTRL simultaneously pressed (no, I’m not kidding). You’ll then be prompted to delete your profile. Answer “Yes” and you’re done.
Strange, yet simple.
