Why couldn’t they come up with another good keyword?

Well, I’ve joined BuzzBums.com, a blog aggregator. Much like Asterisco but on a different scale (and way uglier).

The good thing is that blogs aren’t automatically accepted, only after an apparent human revision. I suppose humans are still the best content filters out there. It features great blogs, such as John Chow‘s, Tech Crunch‘s and many more, so I’ll be in a good neighborhood.

The bad thing is the e-mail they sent, requesting members to display a Buzzbum badge on their site. The problem is not the content itself, but two things: (1) the e-mail comes from a @gmail.com address. I don’t find that to be very convincing. And (2), the “To;” header contained lots of e-mails, presumably of other bloggers. What about a little privacy?

I suppose it’s just the beginning (the pos-Beta Beta) and things will turn out okay, but guys, pay a little attention to details.
